Backdrop to the ceremony and undisputed crown jewel of the region. "Monty" never fails to take the breath away, whether seeing it from the distance for the first time, or when walking up its stairs in the late afternoon, as the tide rolls out. I recommend going late in the day when there are less tourists, and do make sure to visit the abbey where there is a beautiful cloister and a view across the entire bay.
